In June 2017, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Government and with the support of EBRD, NALED established an expert team - Support Unit for the Coordination Commission for Inspection Oversight, which systemically coordinates the reform of inspections and aims to ensure:
In less than a year, the Unit has revitalized and ensured sustainable cooperation among all inspection bodies and prepared amendments for 83 regulations, with the aim of their harmonization with the umbrella Law on Inspection Oversight.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Government, the Unit has prepared the first Info sheet about the rights and obligations of business entities during regular inspection oversight, which serves as a useful and practical guide for both businesses and the inspections. The document has been formally adopted by the Coordination Commission as well.
With Unit's support, the Coordination Commission is making preparations for the implementation of e-inspector - a comprehesive electronic platform for planning and managing inspecton oversight which should contribute to a higher efficiency and transparency of inspections and their better mutual coordination.
The Unit is also in charge of managing the website inspektor.gov.rs which includes all relevant information about the work of the Commission and all inspections in Serbia.
