Doing Business 2019: Digital transformation





On Wednesday, 31 October 2018 starting at 15:00h at Crowne Plaza hotel in Belgrade, NALED in cooperation with the World Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the British Embassy will organize the third annual conference on the occasion of presenting the new World Bank's Doing Business report 2019.  

The conference will analyze Serbia's performance in the 10 key areas observed by the World Bank in its Doing Business report, and initiate a dialogue about the further reforms NALED will work on in cooperation with the Government of Serbia and the international community, with particular focus on digital transformation of the public administration.

The conference will be opened by the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Zorana Mihajlović, World Bank's Country Manager for Serbia Stephen Ndegwa, British Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Denis Keefe and the President of Executive Board of Erste Bank Slavko Carić on behalf of NALED's Property and Urbanism Alliance.

As a special guest, Nika Gilauri, former Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Georgia, will share his experiences with Thomas Lubeck, Regional Manager of IFC, presenting the reforms that led his country from the 112th position to being among the top ten in the Doing Business list.
