Capital Innovation Point Serbia (CIPS) is a Serbian consortium within the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) network, established with the aim of fostering digital transformation and technological progress by supporting startups, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as public sector organizations.
CIPS focuses on key areas such as high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced digital skills, automation, and robotics. The support for startups and SMEs is expected to be delivered through the following areas:
- Solving technical problems: Assisting companies and institutions in addressing specific technical challenges through testing, product development, and similar activities.
- Capacity building: Enhancing knowledge, skills, and capacities within organizations.
- Collaboration and access to financing: Strengthening cooperation among various stakeholders and facilitating access to financing opportunities for startups and SMEs.
Objectives and Results
Throughout the project, NALED will be involved in the following activities:
- Development and implementation of training programs aimed at improving business skills, with a special focus on access to finance for SMEs, organizational issues, project management, business digitization, intellectual property, and other key business aspects.
- Establishing and continuously maintaining a mentoring support system, presenting best global practices, organizing expert meetings, and workshops for the exchange of experiences.
- Creating tools for experience exchange and continuous learning, through the development of national and international contacts aimed at strengthening joint business cooperation, internationalizing Serbian SMEs, implementing joint project initiatives, research and development (R&D), and innovation.
- Designing and implementing promotional plans in collaboration with project partners.
