Support for strengthening the capacities of the Inspectorate of the Republic of Srpska

Within the EBRD project framework, NALED provides support in strengthening the capacities of the Inspectorate of the Republic of Srpska. Given the complex business environment with a range of obstacles to business operations, including the high level of informality in the Republic of Srpska, improving inspection capacities has been identified as one of the key prerequisites for reducing the informal economy. Thanks to its extensive experience in providing this type of support in Serbia and the region, NALED was selected as a partner in project implementation.
Objectives and Results
- Development of a comprehensive training program in selected areas to strengthen the capacities of the Inspectorate of the Republic of Srpska
- Preparation and implementation of training programs for inspectors on the institutes of misdemeanor law and administrative procedure
- Enhancement of the inspection planning process based on risk assessment
- Improvement of the application of legal regulations, as well as the effectiveness and efficiency of inspections, with increased transparency in the work of inspectors.
