The FMCG Summit is where industry leaders meet, exchange insights and address the key issues that will shape the future of the FMCG market. This year’s edition will focus on the challenges that are critical to business growth today – from real growth and the impact of inflation, to promotional activity and consumer behaviour, as well as the future of retail formats, digitalisation and emerging retail platforms.

The key topics will include volumes, inflation, promotions, consumer behaviour, growth composition, the future of retail formats, digitalisation and retail platforms – issues that directly influence how FMCG companies make decisions today and where they identify opportunities for future growth.

Once again, the FMCG Summit will bring together representatives of the most important companies operating across the FMCG sector – retailers from all sales channels, local and international manufacturers, distributors and wholesale systems, as well as companies specialising in IT, data, digital transformation, e-commerce, retail technology, logistics and business solutions.

The conference is expected to welcome more than 650 participants, 150 companies and over 30 exhibitors, with more than six hours of programme content, as well as additional time dedicated to informal networking and business connections.

Throughout the day on 12 October, participants will have the opportunity to explore how value is really being created in the FMCG industry today, how retail is evolving across Europe, and how smaller formats can adapt to changing consumer habits. Discussions will also address the evolving role of distributors in a digital environment, the future of retail, innovation, the relationship between brands and retailers, and how companies can strike the right balance between margins and volumes.

A particular highlight of the programme will be the keynote sessions delivered by international experts, including Sebastian Rennack, International Retail Analyst at Aletos Retail, Ray Gaul, CEO of Retail Cities, and Boris Planer, Top Retail Expert 2026 and Ambassador of the World Retail Congress. The programme will be further enriched by leading representatives from companies such as NielsenIQ, Mastercard, Nelt Group, Bambi, Yuhor, La Linea Verde Serbia and other key players across the FMCG ecosystem.

Among the topics expected to generate particular interest will be how to distinguish real growth from growth driven by inflation, how promotions and discount formats are reshaping the market, how smaller formats are competing for space and shoppers, and how digital platforms are transforming the relationship between distributors, customers and principals.

The conference will conclude with a panel discussion, “Between Margin and Volume: How to Drive FMCG Sales Today”, bringing together industry representatives to discuss decision-making under pressure, the role of promotions and private-label brands, and what really works in today’s market.

The FMCG Summit is designed for everyone shaping the growth of the FMCG market – from manufacturing and distribution to retail, consumers, data and technology. In addition to its educational programme, the conference offers an opportunity to connect with key decision-makers and explore new business opportunities.
