Measure "Start legally" redirected to innovation activities

The measure "Start legally" for exemption from paying taxes and contributions intended for beginners in business ceased to be valid on January 1, 2021, and new businesses can no longer apply for its use. Entrepreneurs who applied for this measure during 2020 have the right to use it this year until the expiration of 12 months from the date of application.

Based on the amendments to the Individual Income Tax Law (in Serbian), the mechanism of tax exemption was redirected to innovative companies established after March 1, 2020, with the extension of the duration of the measure to three years and the increase of the salary payment limit to 150,000 dinars.
