Establishment of the council for small businesses

NALED has established the small business Council as an innovative platform dedicated to improving the business environment for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and entrepreneurs.

The Council will bring together selected representatives of associations, organizations, as well as individual MSMEs and entrepreneurs, to jointly work on creating a more favorable regulatory framework and conditions for the growth and development of small businesses.

What is the Small Business Council?

The Council is a NALED working body, formed with the aim to:

• Assess the business environment – Monitor and analyze the regulatory framework affecting MSME operations.
• Define recommendations – Develop specific initiatives, proposals, and measures to improve business conditions.
• Encourage collaboration – Provide access to trainings, workshops, mentoring programs, and networking opportunities with government representatives, larger businesses, and the academic community.

Who can apply?

The Council is open to organizations, associations, and individuals operating in the MSME sector who wish to actively contribute to improving the business climate. Applications are subject to the following eligibility criteria:

• Official registration and compliance with applicable laws
• At least three years of business activity
• Representativeness:
 – For associations and organizations: a minimum of 30 members
 – For individual companies and entrepreneurs: up to 50 employees
• Transparency – Properly prepared financial reports and business operations aligned with principles of corporate social responsibility

Member selection process

Based on representativeness and previous engagement, NALED will select up to 20 members to join the Small Business Council.
