Receiving work applications within the measure

The measure fostering work engagement based on the concept "Together for the community" during the COVID-19 pandemic is part of a broader German Development Cooperation project titled "Inclusion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia", implemented by GIZ, while the work engagement measure is implemented by NALED within the project "Improvement of living conditions of Roma and other marginalized groups in 18 LGUs" together with the Association of Coordinators for Roma Issues.

This measure is aimed at short-term employment of Roma and other marginalized groups (unemployed for more than a year, single mothers, women victims of violence, people with disabilities, people from large families, returnees), during the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of the Together for the Community measure is to mitigate the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and contribute to the improvement of living conditions and the recovery process of the community, especially marginalized groups.

The concept will be implemented in 6 local governments (LGUs): Vranje, Aleksinac, Pirot, Kruševac, Kragujevac and Subotica, with the aim to provide income for marginalized people during the COVID-19 pandemic, and will contribute to community needs and improve the quality of life in participating local governments.
