Empower Innovation is a project implemented by NALED in partnership with the company Philip Morris Operations, aimed at empowering the domestic scientific community and improving cooperation between researchers, industry, and institutions.
Through the organization of science fairs, mentorship support, and specialized training, researchers are provided with the opportunity to develop their projects in accordance with market needs and connect with companies ready to apply modern scientific solutions.
The project focuses on the development of innovations with potential for application and commercialization, and therefore the creation of long-term impact in the economy.
The goal is to create an enabling environment that strengthens the role of science and supports researchers in realizing their ideas.
Goals and Results
The goal of the project is to strengthen connections within the scientific community, as well as to improve cooperation between science, industry, and institutions.
Through science fairs, mentorship support, and specialized training, researchers will have the opportunity to improve their projects and connect with companies to facilitate the market placement of their solutions.
In addition, this project will enable researchers to network with global stakeholders in the field of innovation through participation in international science fairs and study visits.
Key Activities:
Organization of five one-day science fairs
Participation in the International Fair of Science and Technology in Serbia
Certified online training for researchers and BIO4 campus residents to improve understanding of technology transfer
Preparation of analysis and identification of policies that can stimulate innovation
Provision of mentorship support to teams to improve project presentations
