I recently had the privilege of taking on the role of coordinating the eGovernment Alliance at NALED. Although I am new to this position, I have been working with NALED for nearly two decades through various projects and from different perspectives—as a representative of the private sector, international organizations, public administration, and now, once again, from within NALED. That is precisely why I am especially excited about the opportunity to work together on initiatives that can improve the way citizens, businesses, and public administration access and use digital services.

This year is a particularly special one for the Alliance, as we celebrate ten years of its work. It is a fitting moment to pause and reflect on everything we have accomplished together. In just one decade, eGovernment in Serbia has come a long way, and the Alliance has had the privilege of contributing to many important milestones. From advocating for the establishment of the Office for IT and eGovernment, supporting the abolition of the mandatory company stamp, and contributing to the development of the eInbox and the Local eGovernment Index (LEI), to initiatives in information security, electronic communications, parafiscal charges, smart cities, and, more recently, artificial intelligence—these are just some of the achievements we can all be proud of. I believe we will have the opportunity to revisit many of these milestones together as we celebrate our anniversary this September.

Anniversaries, however, are not only about looking back—they are also an opportunity to look ahead. How can we make the next phase of digital transformation even more valuable for citizens and businesses? How can public services become simpler, more proactive, and better connected? How can we responsibly harness the potential of artificial intelligence, strengthen cybersecurity, and build greater trust in digital public services? How can we unlock the opportunities offered by interoperability, the European Digital Identity Wallet, and other emerging technologies? I believe these questions will define the Alliance's work in the decade ahead, and I look forward to addressing them together with our members and partners.

Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all Alliance members whose knowledge, experience, and commitment over the past ten years have helped transform good ideas into meaningful change. The Alliance is what it is today because of your expertise, dedication, and willingness to work together in pursuit of better solutions.

I hope this blog will become much more than a summary of our activities. My goal is for it to serve as a platform for sharing ideas, experiences, and new initiatives. I warmly invite you to reach out, suggest topics, and share the challenges you encounter in practice. I firmly believe that the best reforms begin with open dialogue.
