Mila finished her Bachelor studies at the University of Belgrade (Faculty of Geography) and then completed her Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Tourism Management at the universities in Denmark, Slovenia and Spain. She was a scholarship holder from Young Talents Fund ’Dositeja’, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the European Commission. She has been an activist in the field of youth policy development, advocacy and capacity-building of youth to partake in socio-political processes. She used to be the Governing Baord member and the president of the National Youth Council of Serbia – KOMS, as well as a volunteer/project coordinator in other youth non-governmental organizations in Serbia and the region. She represented Serbia at the fora organized by the United Nations, the European Commission and OSCE as a youth delegate, and currently serving a 2-year-long mandate at the Advisory Council on Youth of the Council of Europe, a unique co-managament system in the world. She joined NALED’s Projects Unit as an intern in November 2019, where she currently serves as the Projects Officer.

She is a long-term activist in the field of youth policy development, public advocacy and capacity building of youth and civil society for active participation in socio-political processes in Serbia, the region and Europe. She was a member and president of the Governing Board of the highest representative body of youth in Serbia - KOMS, and for more than 5 years she has volunteered in other civil society organizations in Serbia and the region where she participates in EU and Sida-funded projects. She represented Serbia and young people at the forums of the United Nations, the European Commission and the OSCE as a youth representative, and she was also a youth delegate in the Youth Council of the Council of Europe, the only management structure in the world. Since February 2021, she has been providing support as an expert for youth participation in the Youth Council of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. She joined NALED in November 2019 in the Project Preparation Unit, where she prepared projects for various international donors and since June 2022 she has been engaged as a Project Implementation Specialist in the Unit for EU Projects and Regional Cooperation.
