About the project:
The National Cashless Payments Initiative focuses on creating better conditions for development and encouraging all forms of cashless payments in the public and private sectors. Higher share of cashless payments directly contributes towards countering shadow economy, increasing the budget revenues, improving the quality of public services and, in the broadest sense, improving the quality of life of citizens. The National Cashless Payments Initiative is a joint project of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, companies Mastercard and VISA, implemented under the auspices of develoPPP program of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in cooperation with NALED and the Ministry of Finance of Serbia.
