Digital transformation in Vranje

As part of the “eGovernment for All” project, the Digital District team from the Office for IT and eGovernment continues its activities in local governments with a visit to the city of Vranje. The aim of these visits is to promote digital transformation at the local level and improve the quality of services provided by local governments to citizens and businesses.

During the meeting, the representatives of the City of Vranje were introduced to the project, the timeline of upcoming activities, and all the services covered by this program.

The City of Vranje is highly committed to digitalizing its operations and successfully implements systems such as Pisarnica, eZUP, and eSanduče.

The support of the Digital District team is needed to improve infrastructure in the website domain, introduce a citizen communication system (CRM), and integrate the eSeal into the cloud within the Pisarnica software solution.

“For many years, the City of Vranje has been implementing digital services offered by the Office for IT and eGovernment. Participation in this project is of great importance for our local government. We expect to make even better and greater use of the Office’s resources, all with the aim of improving the operations of the City Administration, which is in the best interest of our citizens,” said Dušan Aritonović, Head of the City Administration.

It was agreed that the Office for IT and eGovernment will continue to provide professional and technical support in all phases of introducing electronic services and strengthening the capacities of local governments.

The “eGovernment for All” project is implemented by the Office for IT and eGovernment, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, NALED, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Under the project, ten cities and municipalities across Serbia - Beočin, Bela Palanka, Čačak, Despotovac, Ćuprija, Kragujevac, Niš, Pirot, Veliko Gradište, and Vranje - receive support in the process of digital transformation and modernization of public services.
