Innovation Leaders from Serbia Visit Munich

Representatives of NALED and innovation institutions in Serbia took part in a study visit to Munich from 16 to 21 November, dedicated to the exchange of European best practices and the strengthening of Serbia’s innovation ecosystem. The visit was organized within the Innoleaders Serbia program, funded by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation and implemented by NALED, the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade (FON), and the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

During the four-day stay, participants were introduced to advanced models of innovation hub governance, startup ecosystem development, technology transfer, and university–industry cooperation. Special attention was given to the experience of the Technical University of Munich and the UnternehmerTUM startup hub, recognized as some of the most successful innovation centers in Europe.

The study visit included tours of key innovation sites in Munich, such as Munich Urban Colab, TUM Venture Labs, the Siemens TUM Center, and the Garching Research Campus, as well as workshops and discussions focused on the practical aspects of developing and managing innovation ecosystems.

The Innoleaders Serbia program aims to professionalize and strengthen innovation institutions, enhance the knowledge and skills of ecosystem stakeholders, and foster connections with international centers of excellence in order to support the accelerated development of innovation and entrepreneurship in Serbia.
