ASEE – a leader in the ICT sector whose software solutions power the domestic financial industry, from banks and large companies to public institutions. The company employs more than 560 people in Serbia and is part of the Asseco South Eastern Europe Group, a regional leader in the development of proprietary software solutions and services in Southeast Europe for the financial sector, public administration, and telecommunications. The Asseco South Eastern Europe Group employs more than 3,800 people in 23 countries and ranks among the largest ICT companies in Europe.
ASEE supports the implementation of key NALED projects and initiatives, including the Grey Book of Regulations and the Business Friendly Certification in South East Europe (BFC SEE) program. As President of the NALED Executive Board, ASEE Director Dejan Đokić volunteers his time and expertise to support the implementation and promotion of NALED’s program activities.
Gomex – a regional leader in wholesale and retail trade. Gomex is a modern retail network focused on fast-moving consumer goods, fresh product concepts, and neighborhood store formats. The Gomex retail chain operates more than 250 stores across Serbia. With around 2,400 employees, it is one of the larger employers in the country. Its operations follow modern European standards, enabling the company to provide consumers with the best possible service, from product selection to competitive pricing.
Gomex advocates for fair competition and supports the development of measures and recommendations to combat the grey economy, while also raising awareness about the importance of tax compliance and the fight against illegal trade. As a long-standing member of the NALED Managing Board, Goran Kovačević, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Gomex, voluntarily contributes his time and expertise to advancing NALED’s socially responsible mission.
Philip Morris International (PMI) – a company leading the transformation of the tobacco industry with the goal of creating a smoke-free future. In Serbia, PMI operates through two entities, Philip Morris Operations a.d. Niš (PMOP) and Philip Morris Services d.o.o. (PMSE), employing more than 900 people across the country. Since acquiring the largest Serbian tobacco factory, Duvanska industrija Niš (DIN), in 2003 through what remains one of the most successful privatizations in Serbia, PMI has invested around 900 million USD in its Serbian operations. The factory in Niš is among the most modern in PMI’s global manufacturing network, while Belgrade has become the company’s regional headquarters for Southeast Europe as well as one of PMI’s centers of expertise for financial operations.
PMI supports the promotion of innovation and technological development in Serbia through the StarTech project, launched in partnership with NALED, and through the establishment of the first private grant fund for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises aimed at supporting digital transformation and innovation development. The company also participates in the Fair Competition Alliance and actively contributes to the development and implementation of the Program for Suppressing the Grey Economy.
PwC Serbia – a leader in audit, tax, and business advisory services. The PwC network operates in 152 countries worldwide, employing more than 328,000 professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality services in information technology, auditing, and business and tax consulting. PwC opened its office in Belgrade in 2001, in response to opportunities that emerged during Serbia’s economic reform and market liberalization process. Today, the Belgrade office employs around 250 domestic and international experts.
Through voluntary engagement as President of the NALED Managing Board, PwC Director Vladislav Cvetković supports NALED’s activities, contributes to the development and implementation of the organization’s mission and goals, and represents the shared interests and values of NALED members in the public sphere.
Yandex IT Center – a technology company that develops smart devices and machine-learning-based services designed to help users and businesses navigate both online and offline environments more effectively. Since 1997, Yandex has been developing world-class search and navigation technologies tailored to local markets. The company also develops platforms for e-commerce, entertainment, computing, and other digital services, supporting millions of users worldwide.
Yandex contributes to NALED’s goals, program activities, and sustainability through initiatives related to the development of e-government and digital public services, combating the grey economy, and improving property rights and the investment climate in Serbia.
