Emilija Ničić graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, with a degree in Social Policy and Social Work, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Law and Gender at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade.She gained her professional experience in the civil sector through project management, with a particular focus on socially responsible projects, as well as public policy, mediation, and process facilitation. In addition to several years of engagement with the Human Rights Committee in Vranje, where she coordinated the SOS Corneg for girl program through its development and implementation, direct work with beneficiaries, and coordination of local activities, she further developed her experience through her work at the National Youth Council of Serbia, where she contributed to project implementation and collaboration with member organizations.She has been engaged in the work of several organizations and initiatives, including serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the World Youth Wave organization. She has further developed her knowledge through numerous trainings and programs, including the Women’s Civic Leadership Academy of the International Republican Institute (IRI) and the OSCE Dialogue Academy. She joined the NALED team in November 2023.
