Election session of Food and Agriculture Alliance

The Food and Agriculture Alliance held a meeting and elections for the vice presidential position on Tuesday, 11 June 2019 in NALED. The current presidency involving Vladimir Čupić (Atlantic group), Andrea Radonjić (Coca Cola) and Aleš Možetič (Don Don) was joined by Dragana Zorić (Metro Cash & Carry) who was elected by a majority of votes of the attending members. The working part of the meeting was also attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management who presented the plans of agricultural inspection, based on the expanded jurisdictions in line with the Law on Food Safety, the Draft Law on Geographical Indication of Origin, as well as the planned harmonization of laws with the EU legislation in the field of food labeling. Within the meeting, the members were presented the report of the focus group dealing with possibilities of donating excessive food, as well as the engagement of NALED representatives in several working groups in the field of food safety and quality.
