Food and Agriculture Alliance

Aleš Mozetič was born in 1970 in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, and he is at the forefront of the contemporary baking industry in the region. With a degree in physics and mathematics, he entered the world of baking in 1993 in Slovenia as co-founder of Don Don, which is today a bakery leader. The system consists of 14 bakeries and 2 mills in Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro. Aleš is also the creator of the brand and concept Tvojih 5 minuta, well-known and present in both domestic and foreign markets. With his vision, energy and constant aspiration to improve personal and professional standards, he spearheads a 2,000-employee team in a company which is expanding on a daily basis by following the latest world trends in technology, working conditions, management attitude, and social and humanitarian activities. Thus, the focus of his business is the high quality of both labor and products. He is a conference lecturer and has participated at many world FMCG summits. A food connoisseur and a lover of gastronomy, he also has a passion for mountaineering, cycling and is preparing to run his third marathon. He is married and father of five children.

Andrej Beslać graduated from the Hawaii Pacific University, while he earned a Magister degree in political sciences from a prestigious Sciences Po Institute in Paris – field of Business Administration, Economy and Finance. He started his businss career in Holcim as a Finance Operations Controller, being engaged on introducing financial procedures and standards, and the structuring of just privatized cement factory Popovac. In 2005 Andrej joined the Danish company Carlsberg Serbia as the National DSD Manager, being responsible for the operations of DSD centers, and the implementation of Direct Sales and Distribution projects. After two years in the company, he took over the position of Marketing Director, being responsible for the strategic development of the company portfolio brands. From 2008 to 2010, Andrej held the position of General Manager of the Austrian City express, being in charge of the company overall operations, the implementation of standards from the head company Austrian Post, as well as the implementation of the latest logistical and software solutions in the field of package delivery. In 2010 he returns to Carlsberg Serbia where he stayed until 2016, as Sales Director for Off Trade Channel, and later as the CEO. He joined  Mlekoprodukt in December 2016 as the General Manager. The greatest success achieved in Mlekoprodukt were the obtaining of EU and China export certificates, reaching a leader position for the BISER brand in the category of cheese, and the use of whey to produce bio-sustainable environment friendly electricity. As a great gastronomer, he is a member of international cheese producer association which has had its branch in Serbia since 2018 at the initiative of Mlekoprodukt. He lives in Belgrade, he is married with three children.

Director of the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) since June 2022, with over 25 years of experience in leading institutional and project teams, specializing in quality, food safety, and international cooperation. With an academic background in quality management and veterinary medicine, contributed to the creation of the national program for quality and food safety certification in Serbia, establishing a regulatory framework for quality infrastructure. The career includes improving standards of good governance in the public sector, developing regulatory frameworks, and enhancing the efficiency of services. As an author and member of the BFC standards technical committee, has participated in the implementation of certification systems across six countries in the region. Extensive experience in managing complex projects and collaborating with donor and international organizations includes inspection service reforms and institutional capacity development.

Dragana Zorić is a food technologist in METRO Cash & Carry, Srbija, engaged as Quality Assurance Manager. She started her career in "Eko preparati" as a Patent Co-author and the Head of Production. She worked in PKB “Imlek” and Agroekonomik "Beofruto" Belgrade as the Chief Technologist and Head of Production. Since METRO Cash & Carry joined the Serbian market in 2004, she has been coordinating the operations ensuring the safety and quality of METRO Cash & Carry portfolio in line with the highest global standards. Within METRO group, since 2016 she has been the leading evaluator to estimate the effectiveness and level of implemented METRO standards referring to processes, quality and safety of METRO Cash & Carry products around the world. She is a pioneer in education and promotion of the highest GFSI standards referring to food safety and quality among food producers, and she has given significant contribution in educating producers and HoReCa sector in terms of legal requirements, implementation of HACCP standards, GMP and GHP. She is focused on implementing the food safety and quality policies, and the sustainable business principles nurtured by METRO Cash & Carry. She is a member of numerous working groups taking part in the amendments to various rulebooks, and she has been the Vice President of NALED's Food and Agriculture Alliance since June 2019. 

Marjana Davidović is a Country Manager of Nestlé for the Southern Adriatic region, which includes Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia. Marjana gained a lot of experience in the company by significantly contributing to the rise of the sales sector. Her career at Nestlé started in 2007 as a sales develompment managed and in 2013 she became a sales director. In 2019, excellent results recommended her for the position of executive director of the NESCAFÉ category of the Nestlé company in Poland and Baltic countries, from where she came to the main management position of the company in Serbia. Since coming to this position, Nestlé has recorded extraordinary business results, starting the construction of a new factory in Surčin, introducing regenerative agriculture processes with local suppliers, bringing new categories of products to the market, becoming a leader in food donations to the vulnerable population, and during pandemic, ensuring the safety of employees and smooth suply chain processes. Marjana is a mechanical engineer by education, she is married and has two children.

MD Rodoljub Živadinović, epidemiology specialist, was born in 1973 in Aleksinac. He lives in Žitkovac near Aleksinac. He finished elementary school in Žitkovac, and high school in science and mathematics in Aleksinac. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Niš. He completed his specialization in epidemiology in July 2008 at the Faculty of Medicine in Niš, i.e. Institute for Public Health. He is the head of the Department for home treatment, health care and epidemiology of the Aleksinac Health Center. He is the President of the Commission for Protection against Hospital Infections of the Health Center Aleksinac. He is the head of the Organizational Unit for Hospital Infections at the Aleksinac Health Center. He is the head of the Smoking Cessation Counseling Center. He is the leader of the Environment Team within the accreditation process of the Aleksinac Health Center, as well as the Management Team. He was the director of the Health Center in Aleksinac from December 31, 2014 to December 5, 2023. He is a volunteer member of the Committee for Protection against Hospital Infections of the Kulina Home for Adults. He has been the president of the Association of Beekeeping Organizations of Serbia since February 2008. He is the holder of the CISCO certificate (October 2009) on completed training within the course "iExec Business Essentials v.3.0", which is dedicated to training for the use of modern information technologies and the Internet in business, under the leadership of facilitator Bojan Lalić. He successfully completed the training "LEADERSHIP AND ACHIEVING GOALS IN A TIME OF RAPID CHANGES", LEADERSHIP 2 (Consulting/Training/Coaching), in April 2012, under the leadership of the manager from the USA, Milan Valčić. In the organization of PwC's Academy, he finished the "LEADERSHIP" seminar, under the direction of Emmanuel Koenig in November 2018. Organized by PwC's Academy, he completed the seminar "NEGOTIATION", under the direction of Emmanuel Koenig in December 2018. Organized by the HR TEAM, he completed the "FACILITATION" training under the leadership of Ivona Simić in January 2019. He completed the "COURSE IN APITHERAPY" in March 2007, organized by the Ministry of Health of Bulgaria, the National Center for the Protection of Public Health of Bulgaria and the Balkan Beekeeping Federation. He is the vice president and a member of the Executive Board of the European Beekeeping Association (EBA). He is the editor-in-chief of the magazine of the European Beekeeping Association "No bees, no life". He is a member of the Management Board of the "United for Quality" Cluster, which fights against food counterfeiting in Serbia. He is a member of the Association for Food and Agriculture NALED. He is a member of the Board of Directors of NALED.

Tamara Penjić graduated from the Faculty of Technology of the University of Novi Sad, and then completed postgraduate specialist studies at the same faculty. She continued her professional development through numerous specialized trainings and study programs in the country and abroad. She started her career in the year 2000 at CARNEX d.o.o. Vrbas meat industry. In Carnex she trained professionally and gained rich experience in all segments of food production and safety, quality and risk management issues, in the domain of standards and regulatory framework crucial for the food industry. During her career, she successfully performed tasks in various positions, gained many years of experience in senior management, and since 2016 she has been performing the duties of the Executive Director of the Meat Industry in the CARNEX company. During her career, she successfully managed several important industrial projects on production automation, construction of a new plant, reconstruction of facilities. Active in the work of several organizations and working groups. She is the president of the Serbian Meat quality Association (Serbian Quality Label Initiative). She holds the position of President of the Council of Technologists. She actively participates in the changes and improvement of legal regulations, as a member of several working groups for the drafting of the Rulebook at the Ministry of Agriculture, she is an active participant in numerous professional, scientific and thematic gatherings. As an expert in the field of meat production and meat products, food safety and management, she is the author and co-author of numerous professional papers and texts published in the country and abroad. She is married and the mother of one child.

Vladimir Cupic graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade. He started his career in the company Deloitte&Touche as Financial Adviser. He took the position of Adviser to the Minister of Economy and Privatization in the Government of the Republic of Serbia in 2001, and shortly afterwards, he becomes the General Manager of the Privatization Agency of the Republic of Serbia. Since 2003 he was a member of the Executive Board in Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank a.d. Belgrade, and from 2007 to 2013 he was the Chairman of the Board. In the following two years he held a position of the Chairman of the Executive Board of AIK Banka a.d. Niš. From May 2015 to May 2016 he was the Director of Atlantic Group in Serbia, from where he came to Victoria Group as the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer.  Cupic is an active member of the governing bodies of a number of business associations, among others, NALED (National Alliance for Local Economic Development), Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Serbian Banks, SAM (the Serbian Association of Managers), AmCham (American Chamber of Commerce), the Serbian Association of Economists, the Business Association Privrednik and BACSEE (Business Advisory Council for South Eastern Europe). He is an expert in finance, corporate governance and restructuring, and strategic management. Lives in Belgrade, married and father to two children.

Vladimir Milićević graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade, Department of Zootechnics (Livestock), experience in a small business since 2005 - in the company S.M.K.R Milićević gained more than 10 years of experience as a HACCP team leader and production director, where he deals with management processes of production and processing of meat and meat products, control of the production process and ensuring compliance with HAACP rules related to food safety in the production and distribution process. Since 2018, he has been running his own meat production as the owner, HACCP team leader and production director. He has been the president of the Paraćin municipality since 2020. In addition to an active career, he has been professionally engaged in photography for more than 10 years - as a photographer and videographer, he was engaged in more than 300 commercial events, participated in more than 100 international photo exhibitions, won more than 50 international awards, and in 2017 in his solo exhibition "Light and Darkness", one of the most visited solo exhibitions in the city, was presented to Paraćin. Independent exhibitions were also opened in Aleksinac and Kumanovo.
