The corporate security and occupational safety Academy is launching

The Faculty of Security Studies at the University of Belgrade and NALED have launched a joint educational program called the Corporate security and occupational safety Academy. The innovative concept aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of professionals in these fields through the synergy of theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

- In an era of rapid changes and serious challenges in the field of corporate security, it is essential to continuously improve knowledge and apply modern standards and best practices. This modular program will allow experts from both the private and public sectors to further educate themselves and apply the knowledge gained in their organizations, said the Dean of the Faculty of Security Studies, Prof. Dr. Mladen Milošević, during the signing of the agreement with NALED, based on which the call for enrollment in the Academy programs will soon be announced.

The program is a modular lifelong learning initiative covering key areas such as occupational health and safety, information security, protection of individuals, property, and business operations, inspection oversight, and risk management. The program is in compliance with the Higher Education Act and offers participants the opportunity to gain specialized knowledge and skills.

The Executive Director of NALED, Violeta Jovanović, emphasized the significance of this partnership between the academic community, the economy, and civil society.

- I am glad that we have created a program in partnership with the Faculty of Security Studies that addresses current business challenges and provides concrete solutions that should first and foremost help businesses operate in compliance with the law. The Academy's educational programs will give participants insights into best practices and connect them with experts in the field of corporate security and occupational safety, said Jovanović.

She added that the Academy would become a key platform for professional development in this area, providing practical and applicable knowledge to improve security practices in Serbia.

The program will be conducted at the Faculty of Security Studies, NALED facilities, and potentially at the premises of private companies and other stakeholders.

The agreement also established a Program Council, which will guide and coordinate activities, develop new modules, and monitor the implementation of the Academy's educational activities.
