[Telegraf Biznis] Start legally

Are you thinking of becoming an entrepreneur but you are not sure how to start a business, what are your rights and obligations, how to get support funds and what can go wrong?

You can find the answers to all of these questions completely free at the educational workshops organized by NALED across Serbia in cooperation with the National Employment Service. There will be a total of ten two-day workshops, and the first is scheduled for 19 and 20 November in Belgrade in Mercure Belgrade Excelsior Hotel from 10:00h to 16:00h (Kneza Miloša 5).

The workshops will be organized under the slogan Start legally and they are intended for everyone, particularly young people who have just completed their education the unemployed who have been trying to find a job for a long time.

- The goal is to provide training for new entrepreneurs to enable them to start their business legally. For this reason, the workshops will present the steps they need to take to open a business, the legal framework and administrative procedures to comply with, the basics of finance and funding sources, as well as the common mistakes in the first year of work – said Irena Đorđević, Researcher in NALED.

The workshops will also deal with the topic of incentive measures, such as the exemption of taxes and contributions during the first year of work. It is estimated that by using the tax exemption measure, an entrepreneur can save up to 240,000 RSD in a year, while the savings for company founders may go up to 1.6 million dinars.

The workshops will be organized within the project ‘’Support to the Government of Serbia in countering shadow economy 2018 - 2020’’ implemented by NALED, with the support of German Development Cooperation project “Public finance reform – Financing the 2030 Agenda“, implemented by GIZ.

The caravan Start Legally continues its entrepreneurial path in Novi Sad (26-27 November), Niš ( 3-4 December) and Vršac (16-17 December). Everyone interested to participate may apply via e-mail startujlegalno@naled.rs.

During the following year, two-day workshops are planned in Smederevo, Bor, Užice, Kragujevac, Novi Pazar and Leskovac.

For all new entrepreneurs, NALED also prepared a special Guide (in Serbian) as well as an illustrative video on the process of starting a business and using the tax exemption measure.
