Prime Minister visits NALED employees

On Thursday, 18 July 2019, the Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić visited NALED Executive Office, meeting the expert team of the organization that has been working on improving the business environment in Serbia for more than 10 years. The Prime Minister's visit to NALED employees is the first since she has been appointed the Minister of Public Administration and Local Government, and then the Prime Minister, after being the President of NALED Managing Board.

The conversation in an informal atmosphere discussed the topics of NALED's early days and the first joint steps in the organization's development. Since its establishment in 2006 NALED has brought together more than 300 members - most successful businesses, local governments and civil society organizations and implemented nearly 150 projects for stimulating economic development in cooperation with international partners. Another topic of the visit was also the status of priority reforms in the field of e-government and e-business, tax policy, inspection oversight, property issues, planning and construction, agriculture and healthcare, which have been determined at the coordination meeting between the Prime Minister and NALED managing bodies in December 2018. The importance of regional cooperation for strengthening Serbia's competitiveness and our country's positioning on the international investment map. 

The visit was concluded with an award of symbolic gifts with a personal touch for the Prime Minister, created by women involved in Ethno Network.
