The extension of the cap on the growth of the tax base for lump-sum taxpayers at 10% until the end of 2027 was one of the central topics of the third session of the Small Business Council. Council members also discussed other measures that could, in the coming period, facilitate operations for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs.
At the session, all 10 priority measures the Council is working on were reviewed and identified across three areas: women’s, innovative and traditional entrepreneurship. These measures are part of a broader agenda of 100 reform proposals aimed at creating better business conditions and reducing administrative barriers.
Council members discussed a recommendation concerning the expansion of assistance that household family members may provide to entrepreneurs without establishing an employment relationship, as well as the introduction of a single account for tax liabilities, where payments would first be used to settle the oldest outstanding debts.
In the period ahead, these priorities will be presented to the relevant institutions and decision-makers, while activities aimed at strengthening the capacities of small businesses through thematic trainings and informational initiatives will continue in parallel.
