Entrepreneurs and owners of micro enterprises from Novi Sad, Niš, Kragujevac, Kruševac and Valjevo seeking to modernize their businesses now have someone to for help, with Masters of Small Business caravan coming to their cities. During the caravan, relevant experts will be at their service for all questions regarding online commerce, cashless payments, registration on Google maps and fiscalization.
Companies and entrepreneurs from five cities that need this type of support can schedule a visit with the consultants via e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org. The Masters of Small Business caravan is part of the Small Business Info project organized by NALED with the support of the British Embassy and in partnership with the Prime Minister’s Cabinet and the Ministries of Economy and Finance.
- The crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic introduced a new era of business and imposed digitalization as a top priority. Our expert consultants will visit at least 500 entrepreneurs and small businesses, and the visits can be organized until January 31. Establishing online sales, introducing cashless payments or positioning a business on Google Maps is not that complicated. The experts will explain to our smallest businesses all the steps and advantages of this kind of business, but also point out all the legal obligations that they must respect in that case. - says Violeta Jovanović, executive director of NALED.
According to her, the procedure of registering a company on Google Maps takes less than ten minutes.
- Applications like Google maps make it easy for customers to find all the information they need about a given business, including business hours, contact, and GPS location. In addition, consumers can leave reviews about products and services and increase confidence in their quality with positive reviews. We expect that at the end of the campaign, at least half of the businesses will register on Google maps - adds Jovanović.
In addition to the caravan, an interactive portal Small Business Info is currently being prepared, which will start functioning on 1 January 2022. On the national portal www.preduzetnistvo.gov.rs businesses will soon be able to find a section www.informator.preduzetnistvo.gov.rs including all the information related to business - when and how to pay taxes, whether there are fees and charges to be paid, how to do business on the Internet, etc.
These are not the only initiatives launched by NALED in order to improve the position of small, micro and medium enterprises and strengthen their competitiveness. In cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, trainings for the use of electronic invoicing systems are being organized extensively, intended for businesses and the public sector.
