Global investors interested in Serbian startups

Several global companies showed interest today in numerous Serbian startups offering various solutions for reducing waste, baby health tracking apps, and digitalized rakija production, during a presentation of investment opportunities organized by the StarTech program and the SEE UP accelerator.

Among the startups presented to investors were those from New York (Better & Better), London (MOREE), and Milan (LampoVet), focusing on solutions in personal hygiene and health, eco-friendly packaging for products, and telemedicine for pets.

One of the startups, Moonshain from Čačak, offers a platform for automating rakija distillers, with cloud connectivity and remote access via a mobile app, while the Farmit startup, offering a healthy eating solution, allows consumers to rent gardens from local farmers and receive fresh vegetables at their doorstep, supporting local agriculture.

Also presented was BabyFM, which offers a mobile app that tracks and provides reports on a child's body temperature and the effects of medication, measured with sensors in a cotton strap.

The startup Biofrost Bioplastics from Jagodina was presented, offering a solution to reduce CO2 emissions by creating biodegradable plant pots made from industrial hemp, while the SOLARGO Smart Recycling solution from Kraljevo offers a system for collecting and validating packaging waste, with rewards for users.

Today's meeting of talented startup founders and potential investors was organized jointly by the SEE UP accelerator and NALED's StarTech program in collaboration with Philip Morris.
