Platform for donations

City administration of Bor provided a space to be used by civic association REAB and other Roma organizations, to assist their fellow people in resolving their daily problems. The space has not been adapted for use and needs to be adapted. The idea is to use the collected funds to eliminate moisture, paint the premises, change the floor and ensure the basic office equipment. The space would serve as a place for Roma people to ask for help and advice to exercise their rights and attend education programs for the employment of Roma people and youth support, working with more than 600 Roma families in Bor. The adaptation requires funds in the amount of 1,600,000 RSD.

Sremska Mitrovica is facing a major problem caused by small illegal landfills in the city. People often leave their large pieces of waste next to the existing containers for communal waste. The local utility company currently does not have the equipment to take away this type of waste. For this reason, PUC „Utilities“ would like to introduce a recycling yard for the city. This area would require 8 containers with 7m3 volume, for 8 types of waste that do not classify as communal waste. The project would reduce 80% of small illegal landfills currently distributed across town, as well as the utility bills for citizens - 19,500 households from Sremska Mitrovica. The realization of this project ideas requires funds in the amount of 1,180,000 RSD. 

Since the establishment of the Primary Care Center in Raška, the gynecology bed has not been changed - for 60 years. Being outdated and old, it is not suitable for persons with disabilities, nor for pregnant or elderly women. For this reason, the association „Srna“, with the support of the Municipality of Raška, has presented the procurement of a new hydraulic gynecology bed as their project idea. Healthcare needs to be provided to all citizens, and the outdated equipment leads to only few women actually being able to receive healthcare service. The idea of this project is to ensure that all women can attend regular examinations. The procurement of a hydraulic bed would introduce benefits for the entire community. The goal needed for the realization of this idea is 1,250,000 RSD and the Municipality of Raška has already provided 50%. Donate using platform Donacije.rs

During their classes and extracurricular activities, professors from the Department of Business Management at the Faculty of Economics in Niš, try to motivate, teach and train as many young people as possible to start their own business and develop an entrepreneurial career. As a result, there are large numbers of student projects developing innovative ideas and business models for future work. Unfortunately, most of these projects remain just an idea, and they never get to practical use. In order to turn some of these perspective ideas and business models from projects to successful real jobs, it would be beneficial to form a  Coworking Space for Young Entrepreneurs at the Faculty of Economics. One of the classrooms, which is very rarely used, would be expanded with adjacent cabinets that have been abandoned, then they would be renovated and adapted with modern technical equipment and converted into a common working space. This would be a place to provide an opportunity for all enterprising students to work on the development of their entrepreneurial endeavors, to share their ideas and experience, to get help from the faculty, young and other successful entrepreneurs, to get in touch with potential investors, to get information on current competitions for obtaining financial resources and other forms of support, as well as assistance in preparing applications for these competitions. In order for the idea to be realized, it is necessary to collect 500,000 RSD.

The project aim is to launch a social enterprise, specifically a courier service in Belgrade, which will provide employment to young people without parental care, after they leave a social welfare institution. In addition to stable employment, young people will have mentoring, training and psychosocial support. This would mean inclusion of young people without parental care into community through employment and new job creation, while on the other hand providing competitive delivery services for legal entities. The amount that needs to be collected is RSD 1,475,000.

The municipality of Gornji Milanovac is facing the problem of reduced leaf mass and green areas in relation to the total city area and population. Budget expenses for landscaping and maintenance of the green areas in the city do not meet the real needs. The idea is to plant about 230 different trees along the busiest roads in the city center and the industrial zone (in accordance with the possibilities in the field and the specific needs required by a certain type of plants). The realization of this idea will cost 2,700,000 RSD, and the municipality has already provided 1,000,000 RSD.

"Open-air library" is a project that includes rearranging a public area in front of the national library, located in the very center of the town of Batočina. This project would significantly contribute to better care of people with disabilities who are not library users at the moment. The total area of ​​the part that would be rearranged is 187.75 m2. The planned adaptation involves two sitting plateaus (one of which is covered), a pedestrian path and sidewalks, flower pots, border fields with protective vegetation and free green areas. This rearrangement would be performed with materials that are standardized for this type of facility, and it would provide access to the plateau and the library itself, that currently don’t exist for people with disabilities. In addition to construction and craft works, it is necessary to perform electrical works on the installation and mounting of the lamps, as well as hydro-construction works for the construction of gutters, and connection to the atmospheric sewage system. The necessary amount for the realization of this idea is 1,300,000 RSD and the municipality is able to provide 25% of the total amount.

Sremski Karlovci is a small town with an exceptional geographical position, famous for its production of wine, food, cheese and cakes. "Kuglof" and "Bermet" are the key products that stand out, already being the city's most recognizable souvenirs, and together with tourism, representing strong potential for local development in this area. In line with all the above, the town saw the need for a business incubator. Being aware of the complexity and long-term nature of the given idea, which is already in the first phase of preparation, research and analysis, the town came to the conclusion that implementation costs should be divided into several different segments and phases, in order to realize them as successfully and quickly as possible. The business incubator, in addition to accelerating the development of Sremski Karlovci, would also bring new jobs and take care of small start-ups. For the realization of this idea, it is necessary to hire a person who will be able to work in the Business Incubator office, as well as IT equipment. These expenses would amount to RSD 3,127,000.

The initiative, that was set in motion by the association "Nasa Pakleštica", aims to rearrange the existing children's playground in the village of Pakleštica on Stara Planina, which is neglected and whose equipment is worn out. The idea is to renovate the playground, but also to revive the green belt around the river by implementing the Eco Family project. The playground is only a small part of the new infrastructure that should make the future of the village less uncertain. Reconstruction and adaptation of the children's playground with accompanying equipment, props and renovation of the sports field for basketball will cost 536,000 RSD.

The Arilje Municipality Primary Healthcare Center has a total of three ambulances, which is insufficient for regular functioning, and in the state of emergency caused by the coronavirus, another ambulance is needed to transport patients diagnosed with the virus.

Healthcare workers in the City of Šabac need the following protective equipment: 1. Disposable overalls, waterproof - biohazard 3. category (type 5 and type 6), 1,000 pieces, at a price of 2,937 dinars (VAT included) per piece; 2. Surgical fleece masks, 20,000 pieces, priced at 90 dinars (incl. VAT) per piece, 3. FFP2 masks, 3,500 pieces, priced at 438 dinars (incl. VAT) per piece ; 4. Strong nitrile gloves, 70,000 pieces, at a price of 15 dinars (including VAT) per piece; 5. Safety glasses - PVC frame with a silicone padding for the face, 200 pieces, priced at 186 dinars (VAT included) per piece; 6. ST45 disposable shoe covers, 10,000 pieces, at a price of 45 dinars (VAT included) per piece.

The City of Cacak intends to procure a disinfection tunnel and 5000 liters of medical alcohol for its work. A disinfection tunnel is a system designed for decontamination and disinfection of persons and objects, and has a great effect with minimal energy and disinfectant consumption. The plan is to install a disinfection tunnel at the entrance to a temporary hospital located in the so-called Blue Hall (a sports hall turned into a temporary hospital). This donation would be of great importance for further preventing the spread of COVID-19 virus, especially for medical staff, which is currently a big issue in all of Serbia and has the greatest potential for the infection’s spread. Disinfection will be performed when entering and leaving the temporary hospital. In this way, we are also protecting members of the Serbian Army and the police who are guarding the facility. The requested amount of medical alcohol is required for the disinfection tunnel to work, given the fact that the optimum consumption is about 30 liters of alcohol per hour of work.

The Municipality of Cuprija currently has the highest number of those infected with the COVID-19 virus in Pomoravlje. Medical staff is the most vulnerable as they are constantly at risk due to a lack of adequate medical and protective equipment. Out of the total number of people tested, more than 50% of those infected with the Coronavirus work at the Cuprija General Hospital. Although it does not have a healthcare center status, the Cuprija hospital is the most active in the district and treats patients from all of Pomoravlje. The equipment most needed at this time includes: 1. Portable X-ray machine - 1,200,000 dinars and up, 2. Contactless thermometers, 20 pieces - 152,000 dinars, 3. Bactericidal lamps, five pieces - the price of a fixed wall lamp is from 15,000 dinars to about 35,000 dinars for mobile, 4. Glasses with side protection, 50 pieces - 75,000 dinars, 5. Pulse oximeter, 10 pieces - 100,000 dinars, 6. Protective suits, 200 pieces - 200,000 dinars, 7. Protective coats, 100 packs / 1000 pieces - 80,000 dinars.

The general hospital in Surdulica needs protective equipment for medical staff (350 employees): 1. Protective masks, 2. Protective gloves, 3. Protective caps, 4. Protective boots, 5. Protective coats, 6. Protective visors, 7. Protective goggles , 8. Disinfectants - alcohol and antiseptic. As the General Hospital is obliged to set up a special Reception Center with 40 beds for the accommodation of infected patients, we also need additional medical equipment: 1. 40 beds for patients, 2. Bedding, blankets and pillows, 3. Hospital cabinets, 4. Patient cabinets, 5. Medical cabinets for medicines and other materials, 6. Medical cabinets for staff, 7. Plates and cutlery.

The Kucevo Municipality needs protective masks for its residents. The municipality has purchased about 1,500 protective masks from its budget and distributed them to all employees in state-owned companies and public institutions, the Primary Healthcare Center, police, volunteers, but because of its populations' low income and underdevelopment of the municipality, very few citizens use protective masks and the municipality is not financially able to get them in bulk.

The Veliko Gradiste Primary Healthcare Center lacks an X-ray machine which is extremely necessary in the fight against the Coronavirus, more precisely when making a diagnosis. The existing X-ray machine is worn out and over 15 years old, so patients are transferred to Pozarevac for X-ray diagnostics, which creates additional problems in these conditions.

A temporary hospital for patients with COVID-19 virus has been established in the Smederevska Palanka Municipality. In order for it to work, we need one autoclave for instrument sterilization, five Omron compressor inhalers for patients with respiratory problems, five pulse oximeters to determine oxygen concentration in patients, and one ambulance to transport patients. All of the equipment would be used to treat patients tested positive for coronavirus.

The City of Pirot was contaced by the Pirot Pharmacy Institution with a request for assistance on a monthly basis of 500,000 dinars for the protection of the pharmacists. The pharmacy institution purchases the equipment together with the equipment for the citizens' needs, and for this reason they need funds. Also, the City Headquarters needs additional funds to procure fuel for volunteers visiting the villages and supplying the rural population with medicines and other supplies. Please note that Pirot is the third local government in Serbia by territory and has 72 villages. We would also use these funds to purchase additional protective equipment for the volunteers and pay them fees according to the law.

The Municipality of Indjija needs te following protective equipment: masks (2,000 pieces), gloves (4,000 pieces) and disinfectants (50 lit.). The equipment is needed both for medical facilities in the territory of Municipality of Indjija and for other institutions, businesses and citizens. Namely, the Municipality of Indjija tries and manages to provide said equipment, but it is a consumable item, and they are always needed.

The Municipality needs donation of protective equipment (masks, gloves, protective gowns) of estimated value of 200.000 RSD and disinfection products - alcohol, home hygiene products, of estimated value of 200.000 RSD.

The City of Sombor needs protective suits (100 pieces, sizes XXL or XL - value 500,000 dinars), shoes of various sizes (100 pieces - value 400,000 dinars), protective masks (reusable - 6,000 pieces, disposable - 100 pieces, protective gloves (disposable - 35,000 pairs), hand sanitizer (8,000 pieces - value 800,000 dinars).

Primary health care center Despotovac needs a digitаl X-Ray (worth around 11.000.000,00 RSD), a 160-liter autоclаve with cartridges and chambers (around 4.000.000,00 RSD), an ambulance van (ca. 7.000.000,00 RSD), a transporting van for dialysis patients (ca. 3.000.000,00 RSD), biоchеmical analyzer (ca. 5.000.000,00 RSD), otоscоpe (five pieces worth around 100.000,00 RSD), blood pressure meter, certified (20 pieces, worth around 200.000,00 RSD), pulse оximеter (five pieces, worth around 50.000,00 RSD). Among the stated equipment, which we truly need, the most urgent is a digital X-Ray, since the one we have has been out of order for three months, and it cannot be fixed since it is 40 years old and produced by EI Niš which no longer exists. We stress that the Primary care center needs this machine since the new protocols stipulate that potential COVID-19 patients are first examined in primary care centers, involving a clinical examination, biochemical analyses and radiology examination requiring an X-Ray, before being referred to a stationary institution.

Primary health care center Ražanj needs protective equipment (masks, gloves), medical devices, medical equipment and medicines. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Respiratory Infections Unit has been established within the Primary health care center, and we need donations to ensure it is fully operational and ready for treating patients. We would be thankful for donations in terms of finance or products.

Financial resources are needed to establish a galenic laboratory within the public institution "Pharmacy of Vranje" for the needs of producing medical alcohol and other galenic products, to ensure better protection of Vranje population and the prevention of COVID-19 expansion.

The Red Cross of Osečina needs protective masks and gloves. A certain number of socially vulnerable families cannot engage in agricultural works, nor make a living by finding occasional work in bigger cities, so they need assistance.

The municipality needs grocery staples such as flour, sugar, oil, biscuits, canned food to form support packages for the most vulnerable population categories in the Municipality of Čoka.
