Study tour to Denmark

From 24 to 28 November 2018, a delegation involving NALED and partners attended a study tour to Denmark, on the topic of public-private dialogue with special focus on organic farming and beekeeping.

Along with NALED representatives, the delegation included the representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Environment Protection, Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, National Public Policy Secretariat, Agrocluster, Beekeeping Association of Serbia.

Within the visit, the participants met with the representatives of Denmark's Ministry of Envirnment Protection and Food – the Danish Agricultural Agency, Mr. Per Kolster, the President of business association Organic Denmark bringing together more than 200 companies, as well as the representatives of the Danish food cluster, representatives of Danish Food and Agriculture Council and the Ambassador of the Republic Serbia to Denmark Jasmina Mitrović Marić. 

On this occasion, the delegation also visited the Stengaarden farm and learned about the methods they use in producing organic food. 

The study tour was organized within the Public Private Dialogue Project implemented by NALED in cooperation with the National Public Policy Secretariat of the Government of Serbia, with financial support of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
