Final meeting of eGovernment Alliance in 2021

This year’s last meeting of the e-Government Alliance was organized online, bringing together over 30 representatives of companies and local government units, chaired by the Alliance President, Željko Tomić from the company OSA Računarski inženjering.

At the beginning of the meeting, the chairman informed the attendees about the activities realized this year, emphasizing that 2021 was one of the most successful years for the Alliance, since as many as six of the nine long-term priorities have been fully or partially realized.

Among the implemented activities, those that particularly stand out are those related to the adoption of amendments to the Company Law, which introduces mandatory registration of companies on the eGovernment Portal, the establishment of electronic payments and electronic delivery. The meeting also stressed the Alliance’s contribution to the adoption of the Law on Electronic Invoicing, as well as the accompanying bylaws, which introduce a new system of electronic invoicing, whose implementation is expected starting from next year. NALED is also actively working on a project to support entrepreneurs, micro, small and medium enterprises in adapting to the new fiscalization model, which is also one of the long-term priorities of the Alliance.

The Alliance coordinator Ana Milovanović informed the attendees about the priorities for the next year. First of all, she emphasized the need to provide support to the IT Office for connecting the Electronic Identification Portal with other state portals based on a single sign-on principle. Among the priorities for the next year, she stressed the development of new electronic services for businesses (especially electronic delivery notes), dealing with information security, but also storing state applications and data in the state cloud.

In a discussion that followed, the Alliance members presented their ideas and pointed out the problems the Alliance should focus on in the next year. One of the presented issues was the problem of validity of a document signed with a qualified certificate for electronic signature and its validity period, especially having in mind the limited validity period of the certificate, and the problem of issuing electronic signatures by distance. The attendees expressed their belief that these problems will be solved next year.

This year, the Association included 12 new members: Municipality of Batočina, Municipality of Mionica, Municipality of Indjija, Heliant Company, Urban Municipality of Stari Grad, Mobi Bank, CETIN Company, Cvetković Law Office, Skoko and Jovićić, Singidunum University, AIGO Business System doo, FHI Zdravlje Leskovac and Beko Balkans doo.
